This is probably not a very accurate portrayal of non-human creatures.  Surely they have senses of humor and some understanding of the form.  My cat laughs at me every time she decides to march into my closet and pee on my clothes.  At least I hope that's a form of humor.

I don't know how many eyes I would have left if I could challenge someone I disagreed with.  Probably negative forty-five.
