I had two advisors in grad school - being co-advised is kind of the worst, guys - and one of them had the scariest thinking face I'd ever seen.  He would have his mouth open, his tongue slightly out with the end curled creepily, and would lean forward, and then WOULD NOT MOVE.  For a solid minute.  And I'd never know if he was thinking or if he had a stroke.  Terrifying.  Anyway, the lesson here is that grad school is fun or something.
